Black Bean Taco Salad Bowl

A bowl assembled from four components that are each finished before anything touches anything else.

Crushing a quarter of the beans is what makes the mixture cling rather than roll off the leaves.

Everything except the leaves can be warm; the leaves must be cold and dry or the bowl wilts before it reaches the table.

Bake the tortilla strips rather than frying them and they stay crisp under the dressing far longer.
